CD-Helper v1.0
****************************
Programmed by Andrew Duke (ajd@soton.ac.uk) in Borland Delphi.
Visit the CD-Helper web pages at: http://www.soton.ac.uk/~ajd/cdhelp/
Description:
------------
CD-Helper allows you to hand-pick indices of the content of CD-ROMs.
Each Index can contain applications, demos, games, multimedia or
any type of file from any CD-ROM. You can make items into program
manager/start menu items or run them from CD-Helper. In either
case CD-Helper will prompt you for the correct CD-ROM, using
both the drive label and your own description.
So now you can have all those apps, games and movies on your
desktop but not on your harddisk.
Compatability:
--------------
Works with Windows 3.x and Windows 95.
Installing CD-Helper:
---------------------
1. Simply unzip all files in the cdhelp10.zip pkzip archive into a new
directory, for example c:\cdhelp
2. Then make a program manager or start menu item for the executable
file cdhelp.exe
3. On first running CD-Helper an index name is required, this could be
"index1" or "movies" or "june-cd" or anything you like, but it must be
no more than 8 characters.
Press F1 or a Help button at any time for context sensitve help.
Status:
-------
CD-Helper is NOT free, it is a SHAREWARE program. Shareware means that you
may download and freely distribute the unregistered version, which may be used and
evaluated for a period of 30 days. After such time the program must be registered
or deleted from your computer. Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of
software. Shareware has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
product, you don't pay for it. The shareware system and the continued availability
of quality shareware products depend on your willingness to register and pay for
the shareware you use. It's the registration fees you pay which allow authors to
support and continue to develop quality products. Please show your support for
shareware by registering those programs you actually use.
Registration details can be found in the help file and on the web page.
